General description of training as an interior architect: 

Formal training in interior architecture is offered at accredited art-schools in a four year program on bachelor level. A diploma of these schools gives right to entry in the legal register www.architectenregister.nl

Some schools offer additional master programs in interior design. These master programs do not yet offer entry in the legal register.
As of 2013 a master degree will be required for entry in the register.
